Who is lost:In particular, established star Alan Houston will take his talents to the NTBL after staying all four years of college.Houston will most likely be picked between tenth and twentieth.Kris Murdock,an established veteran, who averaged eighteen goals and eleven rebounds during his last two seasons in East Lansing, will leave after four successful years.
Who is added:Replacing Alan Houston with four star guard Victor Clemens (13PG,50OV),and adding five-star talent Kennedy Alexander (12SF,32OV) will help the Spartans. These two recruits will hopefully have a big impact on how Michigan State’s season goes next season. The also bring in JUCO Junior Combo Guard Sean Tate out of the successful Southwest Florida Community College.Tate averaged twenty-two goals per game, four assists, and four steals in one season in Ft. Myer’s.
What it means for next season:Two big time recruits will lead this team, but there is a mix of vets, too. The spartans could be a twenty to twenty-five win team next year, depending on plays out.
NIT Status:Michigan State got a one-seed in the NIT and have not looked back. The spartans will have their hands full in their Regional Final game against Arkansas State.
Trending:Up.Michigan State should be a top-twenty five team next season because of their talent.
