After twenty-three successful years as a major division one throwball conference and division three basketball conference, the American North Conference, co-headquartered in Denver,CO and Grand Rapids,MI will be disbanding after the 2018-19 throwball season ends. American North Commissioner and Denver Throwball Director Bob Fillion has announced he will be resigning from being the Denver TD and obviously as the ANorth ends,it’s commissioner as well.Fillion will look to get a job related to the Arkansas Valley in its offices in Little Rock and said that “The remaining teams that don’t find a conference after the American North’s disbanding,I will try to establish a conference for them.” The members of the last year of the ANorth are in the Atlantic division:Canton Baptist,Dayton,Delaware,Eastern Indiana,SLM,Penn Tech,Western Tech Pacific division:Boulder,Denver,Idaho State,Northern Cal,Oregon-Cal,Seattle State,UTech.Southern New York is going to the ACC and Denver is headed to the Big 12 for throwball and swim sports only (these are the schools that have found a new conference so far).
