Kevin Briles named Texas A&M Head Coach

Former Texas A&M Guard Kevin Briles was named Texas A&M’s head coach Saturday. Briles played at Texas A&M from 2007-2011 and then went on to play a season overseas in France professionally. After calling his playing career quits, he became a graduate assistant in 2012. After two years with the team, he was hired as the head coach at Stephen F. Austin. Briles led the lumberjacks to four NCAA Tournament appearances during his tenure as head coach.
