Lansing Lions plan to relocate to Louisville, two new NTBL teams expected in Florida

The NTBL’s Lansing Lions announced on Monday their plans to relocated to Louisville for the 2022-2023 season, in a move first reported by TN Kentucky. According to the official announcement on the team’s social media, the team will remain in the American Throwball Conference Central. They will be called the “Louisville Lions” per the TN Kentucky report.

NTBL Presidents have voted to approve two new teams in the NTBL. Miami and Orlando are set to enter the league in 2023, becoming the first NTBL teams from the Sunshine State ever. The Baltimore Seawolves and DC Hawks are expected to move from the NL East to the AL East to make room for the two expansion teams. Other realignment decisions will be made next month. The team names of both teams will be determined at a later date.
