Florida guard Williams exits draft, headed back to Gainesville

Florida guard Nick Williams told TN Florida “he wants to win a championship” and that he will be returning to Florida for his junior season. Smith gives Florida a shot at a one seed this upcoming season and a great shot at winning the Gators another national championship.

The top guard uncommitted in the transfer portal, former High Point guard Victor Lee announced his intentions to transfer to Ohio State. Lee averaged 17.7 goals, 4.8 assists, and 1.3 steals per game as a junior. Lee is seeking to be the second consecutive grad transfer guard to start at Ohio State in as many seasons.

Florida International guard Devin Black has entered the the transfer portal, replacing Victor Lee as the highest rated guard “portaling” in the country. He will visit Clemson, Kansas, LSU, Naples, and North Carolina. He averaged 18.6 goals, 5.3 assists, and 2.3 steals per game this past season.
