Naples Guard Manny Toliver announces he is entering transfer portal

Naples Sophomore Guard Manny Toliver is entering the NCAA transfer portal per TN Florida. Toliver cited “wanting to be closer to home” as to why he wanted to leave Naples. Toliver grew up and played high school throwball in Los Angeles,California at LA Prep. In his recrutinment in 2018, Toliver was committed to hometown USC before flipping during the national signing period to Naples. He is set on visiting Arizona, Colorado, San Diego, and USC.

Montreal transfer Bozeman commits to Michigan

TN’s no. 2 ranked transfer Clyde Bozeman is headed to Michigan this fall. The wing chose Michigan over Florida Atlantic, FGCU, and Georgia.

Oregon transfer Bennett is headed to Northwestern

Oregon Forward Walt Bennett announced that he was leaving Oregon. Bennett, the Bishop Gorman product, committed to leave Eugene and transfer to Northwestern among many others. He averaged sixteen goals and eight rebounds last season and will have two more years of elgibility in Evanston.

Duke, Head Coach Painter part ways

Head Coach John Painter, the throwball leadership announced today, has mutually parted ways with Duke. Painter led the Duke to five NCAA Tournament appearances in twelve seasons but couldn’t get over the hump in the ACC, thus not winning a single ACC Regular Season or Tournament Championship. Here is the statement made by Duke:”Throwball Director Ben Nelson met with Coach Painter last night to discuss the future of the program after the cancellation of the 2020 NCAA Tournament. Nelson and Coach Painter then mutually parted ways, as Nelson decided to turn our program into another direction. We would like to thank Coach Painter for all he has done for the program.” Last night, Duke Guard/Forward Jack Goodwin has announced that he is entering the portal as a graduate transfer.

Montreal transfer Bozeman narrows list to four

University of Montreal Shooting Guard Clyde Bozeman has narrowed his list of choices of schools to four. Bozeman also confirmed that he would he is in the transfer portal and has withdrawn his name from the 2020 NTBL Draft. Bozeman’s final four is Florida Atlantic, FGCU, Georgia, and Michigan.

Guard Clythe Bozeman is moving on from Montreal

University of Montreal Guard Clythe Bozeman announced that he was entering the portal as a grad transfer and putting his name in the NTBL Draft. Bozeman spent two years at Montreal after leaving Virginia Tech after his freshman year. Bozeman will sit out the rest of the semester and weigh his options. Bozeman is looking at transferring to Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Oklahoma State, and Virginia State for his two years of eligibility remaining.

Tennessee transfer James commits to play for Florida Atlantic

Former Tennessee Point Guard Mike James will play for the Florida Atlantic Owls. James chose them over Georgia Baptist, John’s Hopkins, Louisville, and Maryland. Mike James’s dad and former Tennessee Offensive Coordinator Ron James will be added to the Florida Atlantic staff. His official role is unclear.

Tennessee Point Guard James entering transfer portal

Tennessee Point Guard Mike James is leaving Tennessee and entering the transfer portal. This is after Andy Fillion was hired as Tennessee’s Head Coach and throwball director. James is considering Florida Atlantic, Georgia Baptist, John’s Hopkins, Louisville, and Maryland. James said a decision for his future will be made by the end of Christmas break. James is immediately eligible after graduating and has three more semesters of eligibility remaining.

Gonzaga transfers Za and Zee Williams choose Ohio State

Twin brothers (formerly of Gonzaga) Za and Zee Williams are going to transfer to Ohio State. The former Gonzaga standouts have two years of eligibility, and will try to get it this semester but if not will have full elgibility next semester. They chose Ohio State over Texas A&M and Virginia Tech.

Williams twins announce three finalists, to make final decision on Thanksgiving

Gonzaga transfers Za Williams (Guard) and Zee Williams (Forward, Center) have decided to announce their new school on Thanksgiving. They will be deciding between Ohio State, Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech. Once their decision is made, they will appeal for immediate eligibility. If they do not get it immediately, they will be elgibile for next semester.

Gonzaga’s Williams brothers announce they are moving on from program

Gonzaga Guard Za Williams and Forward/Center Zee Williams announced on their tandem Twitter account that they would be entering the TN NCAA Transfer Portal. The brothers announced they would be visiting California, FGCU, Georgia Baptist, Michigan State, Missouri, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and Virginia Tech before the start of the regular season which is starts a month from tomorrow.

Baylor transfer Johnson chooses USC

Baylor transfer Point Guard Kam Johnson has announced he is leaving Baylor for USC. Johnson wanted to join his girlfriend, Bralyn Evans in the Los Angeles area as she is attending a local Los Angeles area junior college. Johnson also visited Little Rock, Ouachita Baptist, and Virginia Tech.

USC Head Coach Will Thomas might add another transfer. Kam Johnson announced this afternoon he would be entering the transfer portal and considering three schools: Little Rock, Ouachita Baptist, and Virginia Tech. USC has been added to that list as Kam made a follow-up tweet saying he would also visit Southern Cal (USC) along with the three aforementioned schools.
