Arizona State lands prized 2021 big man Mata (HS Throwball News Round Up)

Prized to-be senior center Diana Mata committed to Arizona State on Friday night. Mata will join the nation’s number one player, point guard Quinn Johnson in Arizona State’s 2021 class. Diana Mata is ranked number 77 overall in the 2021 TN 100, and the number eleven center.

In other news 2021 TN 100 SF Christian Kiser decommitted from Wake Forest. Kiser said this in a tweet, “Due to COVID-19, I believe it is best for me to keep my options open. I want to thank the Wake Forest coaching staff, community, and fanbase. With that being said, I have decided to decommit from Wake Forest and reopen my recruitment. Wake Forest will still be an option for me, but I feel as if it is best for me to now reevaluate all of my options. With that being said, my final two choices are Louisville and Wake Forest.” The Louisville native will decided between the two and make a final decision on the last day of the late signing period, Wednesday December 23.
