2022 point guard Javier Jaeavo (#2PG, 2OV in 2022 class), told reporters and announced on twitter the semifinalists for his recruitment on Tuesday evening. The Episcopal Collegiate product announced that home state Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas, and the NTBL G-League would be the final four competitors for his decision. It comes as no surprise that Arkansas is on the list as well as the always improving Andy Fillion coached Tennessee squad. Before Fred Jackson headed back to Fayetteville for the same position as head coach of Arkansas, Texas was the favorite to land Jaeavo because of the relationship Jackson and Jaeavo had while Jackson was still in Austin and still do. Many do not expect Jaeavo to commit to going to the G-League because it gives you the least amount of exposure.
