1.College throwball players can decide that they want to enter the transfer portal and choose their next school, however they will not be eligible until the next academic year during the regular season. Following the end of their season, players can decide to transfer by May 1. After May 1, decisions to transfer will put the players eligibility into question the following academic year. Any transfer commitments can be made before the beginning of the school year.
2.Each college throwball program is now allowed to have seventeen scholarship players. It was moved up from fifteen allowed previously.
3.The end of season TN Tropical Smoothie Nationals event will move from just eight to sixteen teams, which was previously announced. Although it could change, the opening round of the first sixteen team event will be played Monday March 6, 2023.
4.There will be no high school exhibition games played until the beginning of pre-Off-Season Regional Practice from June 27-July 8. The Off-Season Regionals will begin on July 11.
