Pre-2022 Off-Season Regionals Pressers: 2023 IMG guard Duval down to five official visit schools

Nao Ugor, the top point guard in the 2023 class, (#1PG, #2OV), has announced his commitment to play for Florida State. Ugor chose Florida State over Florida, Ohio State, and UCLA.

The top player in the 2023 TN 100, shooting guard MJ Monk, (#1SG, #1OV), is down to Arkansas, Florida, Kentucky, LSU, and Tennessee. The Arkansas and Kentucky legacy will likely decide between those two schools.

2023 IMG point guard Christian Duval, (#2PG, #3OV), announced that he is down to five schools in his recruitment, where he will make his five official visits. Duval cut his list down from 11 and will decide between Arizona State, Duke, Kansas, Syracuse, and Tennessee. He announced this prior to IMG opening the 2022 Off-Season Regionals on Tuesday. He averaged 16.1 goals, 7.6 assists, and 1.9 steals per game during his junior season for the Ascenders.

Fellow 2023 point guard, Bishop Dunne’s Zion Payne, (#3PG, #5OV), a Toledo, Ohio native, will take his four official visits to Ohio State, Texas, Texas A&M, and Toledo. Payne is also considering the NTBL G-League as a potential option for next year.

2024 IMG Forward Jaxon Goodwin, (#1SF, #1OV), announced his final eleven schools. The rising junior said that he is down to Arkansas, Atlanta, Duke, Georgia Baptist, Kansas, Michigan-Spring Lake, Naples, North Carolina, Oklahoma State, Syracuse, and UCLA. His oldest brother Jack played at both Duke and Kansas, his other older brother Josh played at Stanford (not in his final 11), and third older brother Jayden is playing at UM-Spring Lake right now. Goodwin said he will be down to five schools (and where he will take his official visits) by the lead up to the 2023 Off-Season Regionals before his senior year or even sooner.
