The top ranked small forward in the 2020 class, Xion Thompson, is getting a release from his letter of intent to play at Texas. Thompson makes this decision after former Texas head coach Fred Jackson decided to return to be the head coach of his alma mater, Arkansas. Thompson will decide between Kansas, TCU, and a potentially recommitting to Texas. 2020 Texas signees Clark Williams (four-star guard) and MJ Garrett (four-star center) will both enroll at Texas this summer.
