Italy is being accused of fraud
Italy has been accused of fraud by the FTBL and the NTBL. Italy will not be having a team since the fraud accusation. They have been accused of paying players to come to Italy to play for their teams when they get them. Since the Italian government is responsible, they will have to pay $1,000,000 to the FTBL and NTBL and split it between each team. The government has fired back and has threatened to send troops to games and shut them down.
Chinese Power Foward, Ming Yang Lin, has signed with the Beijing Ducks and will be playing when the Asian League is opened. He will be graduating high school in the summer. He averages 15 points a game and is from Beijing. He will be payed 898 thousand dollars.
Celebs Pay NTBL
As you know, the NTBL is very popular. It is so popular that famous actor Dylan Huff paid money to the NTBL and is now in control with Public Affairs for the league. He has brought more attention to the sport. He made a commercial sponsoring the team alongside his clothing company. He has also been seen at many Arkansas Valley and many other college games alongside his pro game visits. His son, Carter Huff, who is only 16, is thinking about going to Arkansas Valley for throwball. Dylan paid the NTBL $30,000 and paid Arkansas Valley $100,000. Arkansas Valley is using the money for recruiting and scholarships. The NTBL will be using their money to expand the league and foreign leagues. If you ever want to meet Mr.Huff, just go to an Arkansas Valley game and he will most likely be there.
Rumor Alert: AJ Williams
AJ Williams of Duke has been rumored to been saying that he wants to play Pro Throwball for a team overseas mainly somewhere in Spain such as Barcelona Spaniards or Real Madrid after he finishes college. Rumors also have said that he wants to play there and settle down when the Euro and Asian League team’s rosters are filled in and ready. He is the first player eligible for the pro draft to speak about going to the new foreign leagues.
This is how Throwball changed a young Kenyan boy’s life.
Ukao Makalawi, the number five ranked foreign Throwball player, used the sport to go from poor, weak, and sad to being one of the best and strongest young players in the world. Ukao came from a poor family in a poor section of Nairobi, Kenya. He was skinny, hungry, and depressed. Then he had heard about the sport throwball when he was in downtown Nairobi and saw a news report about the sport. ” I saw it on the news, and it looked really fun and you see where that brought me to now.” is what Ukao said about the time he first saw the sport. After that, he asked some friends if they wanted to play. The first time he played, he had so much fun, he and his friends played until the sun went down. He asked his mother if there were any teams of Throwball nearby. After his mother looked, she found Ulaga High School which had the best Throwball team in Kenya out of 15 other high schools with the game. They had tryouts for the young man to see how well he would do with the starters. They played the length of a whole match and he scored 35 of the 86 points scored by him and the starters. He was happily accepted into the high school. He became a starter immediately after being accepted. Has his last year in high school comes to a close, he as lead his team to 4 Kenyan High School Throwball Championships and has been dubbed the “Best Kenyan Throwball Player”. He has said that he has appreciated the experiences and good times that the school and team have given him. At 18 years old, it must be a hard thing to handle knowing you are one of the top in the world. He averages 40.8 points a game and 15 blocks a game. We will just have to see what is in store for the young man and what happens in his future.
